What makes the perfect steak? This is a frequently asked question and here are the facts.
Excellent Farming - Many of the farms we work with are or are working towards regenerative agriculture. This is an incredible step forward in the right direction in sustaining the countryside in the UK. The animals are reared on rich pastures and live a happy lifestyle. This is the first step in the process to achieving the best steak.
Master Butchery - Its no secret that the art of butchery takes years of training and even with the best animals so much can go wrong here. Breaking the animal down before storing it whole in the purpose built fridges to age in perfect conditions. Himalayan pink salt bricks are used within our dry ageing room to infuse a more intense flavour in the meat. This is not the only benefit. The salt bricks actually act as a natural anti-microbial because of their chemical components. This helps to kill bacteria in the dry ageing room meaning we can age our meat for longer. It will naturally tenderise the meat and draw the water content out to intensify the beef flavour.

Cannot rate these guys highly enough, their steaks are absolute heaven and probably the best I've had in Liverpool. Their beef burger is on another level too. The only criticism I could give is that I now walk into DSM with complete tunnel vision to their menu!

Dined in DSM & ordered online after seeing they set up a website. Hands down the best meat i've ever had - comes with a handy cooking guide to cooking the perfect steak (which I definitely needed!). Will definitely be ordering again
